The dimensions of our pressure cooker rubber gasket are as follows: Outside Diameter (OD): 10.08", Inside Diameter (ID): 10", and Thickness: 0.4". All dimensions are approximate, as gaskets can stretch or shrink to fit specific lids.

It is important to note that this is not a one-size-fits-all solution. To ensure compatibility, users should measure their old gasket and pressure cooker pot. Pressure cooker sealing rings are manufactured to arrive up to 1" too large to be resilient to normal shrinkage. Soaking the gasket in warm water for 10 minutes before installation can increase its pliability.

The replacement pressure cooker gasket is suitable for select 4, 6, and 8-quart pressure cookers, with part numbers S-9892, S9892, and 9892. It fits Mirro models, including M-0296, M-0436, M-0498, M-0536, M-0596, M-0598, M-0646, M-1952, and M-1956 (including models with -11, -35, etc., such as M-0536-11). Please note that Mirro no longer manufactures these gaskets, and these replacements may differ slightly in thickness from the original gasket, potentially fitting specific models better than others.
